Sipango Restaurant Opens Downtown for Dinner and Happy Hour

Sipango’s featured item is its wood-fired pizza, made with a natural, sourdough starter and put through a 36-hour cold fermentation process.
“We are inspired by clean food, clean plating and the use of what’s available in our own backyard,” Chef Fox said. “We let the ingredients and techniques speak for themselves by pairing them on the plate in ways that complement each other.”
Other specialty dishes include Crab Toast with housemade bread and pickled sweet peppers; Caprese Salad with housemade ricotta cheese, preserved lemon and basil pesto; and Mozzarella Al Minuto, hand-pulled mozzarella made to order and served with a rustic housemade semolina bread.
Sipango also released a new happy hour menu, available Monday through Friday from 3 pm to 6 pm. The menu features snack-sized bites like Romano Spice-Rubbed Chicken Wings ($6) and Whipped Herb Ricotta ($5). A wide selection of cocktails and wines are available during happy hour for $6.
The restaurant’s bar is open until midnight Sunday through Thursday and until 1 am on Friday and Saturday.
