“Thank You” Bouquets Presented to Nurse Managers at MUSC
Local business Chucktown Flowers recently organized a campaign for donations for custom flower bouquets as a way of saying “thank you” to the nurse managers at the Medical University of South Carolina for all their hard work during a very difficult time. The bouquets were delivered to the hospital on Monday, June 15th.
“Nurse managers work behind the scenes so the public and patients are not aware of the hard work they perform to keep a hospital working efficiently,” Vicki Anthos, owner of Chucktown Flowers said. “They deserve a great deal of appreciation, just like the nurses and doctors.”
Anthos said she plans to provide bouquets to 260 nurses at another local hospital soon. If members of the public or a corporation would like to donate, you can send an email to info@chucktownflowers.com.
Anthos is a member of the flower guild at St. Stephen’s Episcopal Church in Ansonborough so she wanted to use her arranging skills to give the nurse managers a different kind of “thank you.” Many of the donations were from members of the church and from family and friends.
