Berkeley County Parents Required to Sign COVID-19 Waiver

Published

on

Berkeley County School District parents say they’re being required to sign a COVID-19 waiver during this year’s student registration process. Some of those parents have expressed confusion over the issue since there are two versions of the waiver available.

One parent provided a copy of the original waiver to Holy City Sinner, which you can read here. This waiver does not mention anything about in-person classroom instruction. The second waiver, which you can view on ABC News 4, does mention in-person instruction.

That’s outrageous to require the children to return to school during a pandemic that’s out of control and from of the president of the United States. Then try an make them sign a waiver? Seems malfeasance too me. It’s a shameful lack of responsibility on the governor and the president. Shame on you! Maybe we can stop having to pay for car insurance too and just sign a waiver. Unbelievably wrong.
