RiverDogs to Induct David Arias, and the late Ralph Johnson into Hall of Honor
The Charleston RiverDogs and Boeing will collectively induct the next two members of the Hall of Honor during an on-field ceremony held at Joseph P. Riley, Jr. Park at 9 am on Friday, July 31st. The new inductees are David Arias and late Ralph Johnson.
The Hall of Honor is the newest of Boeing and the RiverDogs’ joint military appreciation platform, which aims to honor and celebrate military families in the Lowcountry through various recognition programs. The team planned to roll out this program live in person at its Boeing Military Appreciation Night on May 16th; however, although the season began in a delay due to COVID-19, the team decided not to postpone honoring our area’s military families. Instead, it hosted the first induction ceremony in June, when General James Livingston and the late Terrell Horne were honored.
The short ceremony will take place at home plate and include a brief speech about each inductee and a gift presentation from the RiverDogs and Boeing. For more information about the program, click here.
