Charleston’s Nectar Sunglasses Featured on “Good Morning America”
Nectar Sunglasses, an eyewear company based in Charleston, was featured on a Good Morning America segment on Friday. The company’s Blue Light Blockers were included in a round-up of items that can be found in FabFitFun’s upcoming fall subscription box.Blue light is high-energy light that screens emit. Exposure to blue light may lead to eye strain, increased risk of macular degeneration, and sleep cycle disruption. Nectar says their blue light lenses filter 45% of blue light, which can help reduce eye strain.
