Cupcake DownSouth Shutters King Street Location
Cupcake DownSouth has closed its King Street location for good. The company’s bakeries in Mt. Pleasant and Columbia are still open.
The following message was shared on the Cupcake DownSouth website:
“Due to ongoing concerns about the COVID-19 virus, and its impact to the overall downtown market, Cupcake DownSouth at 433 King Street is now closed for business. We greatly appreciate all the support of the local Charleston community over the years, and look forward opening again when conditions improve. Our other two locations, at Belle Hall Shopping Center in Mount Pleasant, and in downtown Columbia, are still serving up fresh-baked daily cupcakes and other goodies for your enjoyment.”
