Charleston Musician Releases Pride Anthem
Charleston musician High Vibr (aka Tanner Kirk) has released an anthem for resistance and self-expression with “Wear Your Colors on Your Face.” Written during LGBTQIA+ Pride Month, the song explores self-expression, identity, and the history of queer resistance movements.The song is from High Vibr’s forthcoming debut EP titled Here’s To The Warrior, and dropped on July 30th. You can hear the new song (and some others) below.
“Writing this song was a way to encourage others to be completely, wholly them, shamelessly,
courageously, and unapologetically,” High Vibr said.
