The Alley Reopens After 170 Day Shutdown
The Alley reopened its doors to the public on Wednesday, September 2nd after a 170-day closure due to the COVID-19 Pandemic. While many bars, restaurants and entertainment centers opened months ago, the team at The Alley says they chose to remain closed for the greater good of the community.
A previously planned reopening on June 16th was halted due to a spike in cases in the Charleston area. The management staff at The Alley said they nixed that opening because the safety of staff and guests is their highest priority.
After this delay, the venue partnered with MUSC to ensure that all best practices were in place. The Alley says this ongoing partnership has helped them to reopen in the safest possible manner and to continue to do so moving forward. - Monday to Wednesday from 2 pm to 11 pm
- Thursday to Sunday from 11 am to 11 pm
