Tempest Announces New Midday Menu

Published

on

Tempest, a brand-new upscale seafood restaurant located on Market Street, is now offering a midday menu, available on weekdays from 2 pm to 5 pm and weekends from 3 pm to 5 pm. Created by Chef Partner Jamie Lynch and Regional Culinary Director Adam Hodgson, the restaurant says these small bites will “showcase sustainable South Atlantic seafood and are ideal for sharing.”

Menu items include Ceviche, featuring local fish and citrus, Umami Tuna “Bombs” with truffle tuna and avocado, and Local Shrimp served with bagnoratte sauce. Prepared in the restaurant’s Mibrasa charcoal oven, the Roasted Clam Flatbread (right) is baked with confit fennel and elephant garlic.

“Our new midday menu reflects the very best of our culinary team’s inspiration for Tempest, from local seafood caught off the shores of Charleston to distinct charcoal flavors from our Mibrasa oven,” Chef Jamie Lynch said. “We have worked to create casual coastal cuisine that is both innovative and approachable.

Tempest is located at 32C N. Market Street, next door to 5Church Charleston. For more information, or to book a reservation, visit www.tempestcharleston.com.
