Scaled Back Farmers Market Returns to Marion Square on 9/26
The Charleston Farmers Market will return to Marion Square with a scaled-back event beginning on September 26th, this according to a recent article in the Post & Courier.
The “essentials only” version of the market has been held each Wednesday in a Joseph P. Riley Jr. Stadium parking lot, but will return to its normal home next Saturday.
The relocated event will still be an essentials-only market, but the larger space will allow for more farmers and growers to participate. Artists, artisans, musicians, and prepared food vendors are still not able to participate. Capacity will also be limited and six-foot social distancing will be enforced.
