Handy & Hot Launches Pop-Up With Expanded Menu and Hours

Handy & Hot, the recently-opened small-batch bakeshop from Chef Vivian Howard, announces a fall pop-up beginning Thursday, September 24th with expanded hours and a seasonal menu available on their patio. New offerings include pizza biscuits, cheeseburger hand pies, charcuterie plates, cocktails and more.

Since opening in August, Chef Howard’s first Charleston restaurant has become a go-to for baked goods, seasonal salads, and coffee drinks. Inspired by the cooler weather, Chef Howard’s new pop-up allows guests to enjoy a snack and drink on Handy & Hot’s newly renovated patio.

Handy & Hot’s (H&H) pop-up menu will be available daily from 5 pm to 10 pm and can be enjoyed on the patio or taken to-go. Highlights include pepperoni pizza biscuits, cheeseburger hand pies, and Carolina cheese & charcuterie plates with H&H preserves. For dine-in, Handy & Hot will also offer batch cocktails, a streamlined bar, wine, and beer.

Later this year, Chef Howard will launch her second Charleston restaurant, Lenoir, adjacent to Handy & Hot. Lenior will be a casual and refined restaurant that aims to spotlight food traditions that perpetuate, honor and evolve the  cuisine of the rural, agricultural South.
