Blue Dogs to Headline Firefly Distillery Safe Sounds Concert on 10/24

Blue Dogs have been announced as the headlining band for the Saturday, October 24th Safe Sounds concert at Firefly Distillery. The Americana group has been around since 1987 and is known for their “loose unpredictability at their live shows.”

Will Blackburn of Stoplight Observation will open for Blue Dogs with an acoustic set, starting at 6:30 pm. DJ Natty Heavy will kick start the concert at 6 pm and spin between sets.

In other Safe Sounds News:
  • The 10/17 show featuring Doom Flamingo sold out within the first two weeks of going on sale, but 50 more 10 x 10 VIP Safe Squares have been released. They are likely to go quick, so get them before they’re gone
  • A new concert was announced for Friday, October 16th. It will be headlined by Umphrey’s McGee bassist Ryan Stasik and ROBOTRIO as “Robostasick.”
    • ROBOTRIO is an experimental organ trio out of Charleston, and the brainchild of keyboardist Ross Bogan
    • Oukuo will open for Robostasick at 6:30 pm.
