National Association of Women Artists South Carolina to Present Art Exhibition at The Vendue Art Hotel
From October 15th to November 29th, the National Association of Women Artists South Carolina (NAWA SC) presents “Inspirational Journey,” a juried and curated fine art exhibition in honor of author Pat Conroy, his writing and community service, at The Vendue Art Hotel. The event is sponsored by the Vendue Art Hotel and the Robert Lang Studios, in conjunction with The Pat Conroy Literary Center.
In this exhibition, the artists reveal what inspires them to create, to paint, to photograph and to sculpt. In some way, each work of art was influenced by Pat Conroy’s extraordinary life and fictional characters. The event will include onsite and virtual demonstrations and panel discussions which include: The Influence of Literature on Art, The Visual Language of Art; Art and Social Commentary; and Women Artists and Why We Create.
