Redux’s 18th Annual Art Auction Begins on November 9th
Redux Contemporary Art Center’s 18th Annual Art Auction will be held from November 9th through the 21st, both in person and virtually. With over 150 pieces of artwork available for purchase, visitors will have the opportunity to view artwork in the Redux gallery space, as well as in partnering businesses throughout Charleston for two weeks in mid-November.
Redux said the following partnering local businesses will be showcasing Auction artwork from November 9th through the 21st:
- Haegur (1102 King Street)
- Harbinger Café (1107 King Street)
- Monarch Wine Merchants (1107 King Street, Suite B)
- Stark (498 King Street, Suite 100)
- Ted’s Butcher Block (334 E Bay St)
- Haven’s Fine Framing (1070 Johnnie Dodds Blvd)
All of the Auction artwork will be up for bid online via Bidr. The virtual Auction will go live on the Redux website on November 9th and will remain open for bids until November 21st. All of the Artwork on view in the Redux gallery space and in the partnering businesses will be accompanied by a QR code, which when scanned, will take the you right to the online Auction page.
Redux will be holding extended gallery hours throughout the duration of the event. Redux will be open 11 am to 4 pm Monday through Saturday from November 9th through the 21st.
The theme of this year’s Auction “Home is Where the Art is” – a nod to the collective experience of the COVID-19 pandemic and quarantine.
Redux’s Annual Auction is the organization’s primary, annual fundraising event. Funds from the Auction provide essential operational support, allowing them to continue their mission of serving the artist community in Charleston and beyond.
