Deadline Extended to Complete City Plan Survey
Press Release
In order to maximize opportunities for public engagement, the deadline to complete the city of Charleston’s City Plan survey has been extended, and responses will now be accepted through Monday, November 16, 2020.
Why it matters: The survey is being conducted to inform the city’s new comprehensive plan, which will guide major decisions in the city of Charleston for the next 10 years.
Public engagement opportunities, like the City Plan survey, help to ensure that the plan reflects citizens’ vision for Charleston’s future, including ways to strengthen residential neighborhoods, improve transportation, increase affordable housing, address drainage and flooding, preserve the city’s diverse cultural fabric, and improve quality of life for everyone.
Complete the survey: The survey consists of 30 questions and should take about 10 minutes to complete. Visit www.charlestoncityplan.com/survey to complete the survey in English, or www.charlestoncityplan.com/encuesta to complete it in Spanish. To request a pre-stamped and addressed printed survey, call (843) 834-5268.
