BCLS Offers Digital Newspaper Collection to Online Databases

Berkeley County Library System (BCLS) is pleased to announce the immediate availability of its new digital newspaper collection, America’s News. The collection is available to all library customers and is updated daily. It provides online access to current and archived issues of full-text newspapers on BCLS.
America’s News provides access to 3,500+ sources from the 50 states including 74 newspapers available for South Carolina including The Post and Courier, The State, Morning News, Sun News, Anderson Independent Mail, The Herald, The Berkeley Independent, The Summerville Journal-Scene, Goose Creek Gazette and additional titles.
This digital collection also provides access to USA Today along with many regional newspapers across the U.S. such as Atlanta Journal Constitution, Charlotte Observer, Fayetteville Observer, News & Observer, Philadelphia Inquirer, San Francisco Chronicle and others.
Berkeley County Library System has seven library branches and one Mobile Library. Each library offers programs and services including digital access through Website, Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. For the latest updates and notifications, customers may also sign up for Remind text notification.
