Freshfields Village Invites Children To Drop off Letters to Santa

The special mailbox will be located near the Christmas trees on the Village Green, and the letters will be delivered directly to Santa via his elves. Families that include a return address on the letter will receive a special holiday surprise from Santa. Parents can also email a return address to freshfields@northwoodretail.com if preferred.

“We’re excited to celebrate the holidays even though Santa is social distancing this year and to give back to a nonprofit doing critical work in our community,” Trish Pruitt, Freshfields Village marketing director, said. “At Freshfields Village, we strive to create memorable experiences for our guests. While our holiday season looks a bit different, we have added new holiday festivities throughout the entire month, including our weekly Holiday Starlight Cinema outdoor movie showings and strolling entertainment each weekend.”

The donations will benefit Dee Norton Child Advocacy Center, a local nonprofit that prevents abuse, protects children and heals families. Primary services include providing immediate support and assistance to children and families through forensic interviews, medical examinations and mental health assessments, and immediate support and coordination.
