Warby Parker Opening First-Ever South Carolina Store on Charleston’s King Street

Published

Warby Parker, the New York City-based prescription glasses and sunglasses retailer, will open their first ever store in South Carolina on Tuesday, November 24th at 415 King Street in downtown Charleston.

To celebrate the opening, Warby Parker partnered with local creative agency, Fuzzco, to create a special edition hat as a free gift (while supplies last) with purchase during opening weekend (starting 11/28). The hats feature a design of the historic Charleston window pane with a co-branded mark of Warby Parker x Fuzzco.

On Saturday, November 28th, from 11 am until 3 pm, the store will partner with Babas on Cannon to treat customers to custom Warby Parker glass bottled Hibiscus flavored sodas during opening weekend (while supplies last). Customers can grab a refreshing drink on their way out and enjoy while outside of the store.

Their King Street location will carry the company’s full optical and sun eyewear offerings, which come in a range of lens types, from blue light filtering to progressives and light responsive frames, as well as their first brand of daily contact lenses, Scout by Warby Parker.

Warby Parker says they have designed and implemented protocols to ensure a safe in-store experience for both customers and their team, including 1-on-1 guided shopping, limited capacity, contactless checkout features, and enhanced sanitation.

The store can be found at 415 King Street. Store hours are Monday to Saturday, 11 am to 7 pm and Sunday, noon to 6 pm.
