Annual Women’s Event Goes Virtual for 2021

For the 2nd straight year, Exquisite Enterprises Inc. will host their annual Exquisite Women Empowerment Day beginning on Friday, March 5th at 6 pm and ending Sunday, March 7th at 7 pm. The event is set to take place virtually this year.

“I think it’s important that even during trying times, we still find a way to empower one another to just keep pushing forward,” event organizer Kimberly Bowman said. “This event has become a reminder for women of their value and their worth and an opportunity for them to celebrate how far they’ve come.”

The Exquisite Women Empowerment Day is a celebration for women of all backgrounds to “engage in empowering dialogue and activities centered around 3 central topics.” The 2021 themes are: Sex & Health for Women, Female Entrepreneurship, and Setting & Achieving Goals.

“These topics have become so relevant now,” Bowman said. “People, specifically women, have become more aware of the power they hold and their potential. I think it is only right but to shine a light on it and talk about it more.”

This year’s events are free to the public, with affordable opportunities available to female-owned small businesses interested in participating.

March 5th will be the Female Small Business Virtual Vendor Fair, in which female-owned businesses will be highlighted for attendees to shop and support. The event will also feature a guest speaker to be announced.

On March 6th, the Female Leaders Speakers Roundtable, where several Lowcountry female leaders will conduct an engaging panel and discussion on topics such as entrepreneurship, leadership, and the female experience, will be held.

The weekend concludes on March 7th with the Exquisite Ladies Virtual Happy Hour, hosted by the hosts of the “So What? Own It!” podcast, Bre’Ana Si’Mone & Nikqua-Cherise.
