Patriots Point Board Votes To Postpone “Yorktown Countdown” New Year’s Eve Event
The Patriots Point Development Authority’s Board on Wednesday unanimously voted to postpone the Yorktown Countdown, a private New Year’s Eve event originally scheduled to be held on the USS Yorktown on Thursday, December 31st.
The official resolution states:
“Because of safety concerns, Patriots Point Development Authority has determined that this New Year’s Eve event must be postponed to a future date and therefore the event will not take place on December 31, 2020 on the USS Yorktown.”
