Netflix Series “Outer Banks” Looking for Adults to be Paid Extras
The second season of the hit Netflix series Outer Banks (OBX) will soon wrap up filming in the Charleston area, but not before giving locals another chance to appear on the show. The production is currently seeking adults to be paid extras over several days this month.
The series is seeking adults (18+) of all backgrounds for the final days of filming. The pay rate is $80 for 8 hours and time and a half for every hour that exceeds the 8th. Those submitting must expect to film 12+ hours per day.
If you are interested in becoming a paid extra for OBX, go to the website twcastandrecruit.com/get-started or follow the public Facebook page TW Cast And Recruit where you can find instructions on how to submit and more information.
The debut season of Outer Banks was a young adult drama series that the network described as “a coming-of-age story that follows a tight-knit group of local teens (aka The Pogues) in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.” The 10-episode first season premiered on April 15th.
