Mellow Mushroom Offering Gluten Free, Vegan, and Keto-Friendly Menu Items

As millions of Americans start the new year with diet-related resolutions, Mellow Mushroom has introduced the new Lifestyle 2021 section to the brand’s online ordering platform to assist in those journeys.

Mellow guests will find a selection of menu items to accommodate the health and lifestyle needs of a gluten free, vegan, or a Keto diet. With four gluten-free specialty pizzas, vegan pies topped with dairy-free cheese, and Keto-friendly menu items, like the new Naked Ritz Burger, Mellow Mushroom can accommodate a variety of dietary needs.

The gluten-free stone-baked pies are available as a small 10” pie or guests can build their own and select from 15 gluten-free ingredients listed on the online gluten free menu. Mellow Mushroom said all of their gluten-free pies are made “following the strictest gluten-free guidelines to safely serve guests with dietary restrictions.” The restaurant said these guidelines include: ensuring all ingredients are prepared and stored securely and are separated from ingredients made with gluten; preparing gluten-free pies in a designated sanitary prep area, and using baking tools designated for gluten free pies only.

The Vegan Veg Out (pictured at right) stone-baked pizza is made with Follow Your Heart® vegan cheese. The Parmesan and garlic butter used to finish all Mellow pies is left off all vegan pizzas. Mellow Mushroom guests can also substitute vegan cheese to any pie at no additional cost. Don’t forget the gummies.

All lifestyle menu options include:

NEW Naked Ritz Burger – All natural ½ pound angus beef patty from Harris Ranch topped with melted Swiss cheese, caramelized onions, Roma tomatoes, and pickles. Served on a bed of iceberg lettuce with garlic aioli on the side.

Keto Elevated Cobb Salad with Olive Oil – Made with antibiotic-free Springer Mountain Farms chicken, applewood smoked bacon, fresh avocados, crumbled blue cheese and sliced Roma tomatoes on a bed of chopped romaine lettuce and served with sliced lemons and olive oil.

Keto Greek Salad with Olive Oil – Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, sweet onions, mushrooms, pepperoncinis, banana peppers, and Kalamata olives and crumbled feta cheese on a bed of romaine and iceberg lettuce tossed with shredded carrots and red cabbage. Served with sliced lemons and olive oil.

Gluten-Free House Special Pizza – Mellow red sauce with mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, ham, applewood smoked bacon, mushrooms, black olives, Roma tomatoes, green peppers, and onions, and topped with extra mozzarella.

Gluten-Free Kosmic Karma Pizza – Mellow red sauce covered with spinach, roasted tomatoes, mozzarella, fresh Roma tomatoes and crumbled feta cheese, and finished with a pesto swirl.

Gluten-Free Veg Out Pizza – Mellow red sauce layered with mozzarella, spinach, green peppers, sliced mushrooms, sweet onions, black olives and Roma tomatoes.

Gluten-Free Mighty Meaty Pizza – Mellow red sauce with mozzarella, pepperoni, Italian sausage, ground beef, ham, and applewood smoked bacon.

Build Your Own Gluten-Free Pizza – Build your own gluten free pizza on a 10” gluten–free crust using 15 ingredients that meet certified gluten free guidelines.

Vegan Veg Out Pizza – Mellow red sauce layered with Follow Your Heart® vegan cheese, spinach, green peppers, sliced mushrooms, sweet onions, black olives and Roma tomatoes.

Vegan Enlightened Salad – Dried cherries, diced apples, and house-made glazed pecans on a bed of fresh spinach.

Vegan Greek Salad – Roma tomatoes, cucumbers, green peppers, sweet onions, mushrooms, pepperoncinis, banana peppers, and Kalamata olives on a bed of romaine and iceberg lettuce tossed with shredded carrots and red cabbage.

Vegan Pretzels – Made with classic Mellow dough and kosher salt and served with traditional yellow mustard.

Gluten Free Brownie – Individually wrapped brownie baked with cage-free eggs and a blend of gluten free flour, sustainable chocolate and ingredients free of GMOs and artificial additives.
