Illuminated is Back at The Woodlands Nature Reserve

The Woodlands Nature Reserve is once again bringing the forest to life for a drive-up celebration of light called “Illuminated.” As guests enter the property, they will park their vehicle and enjoy an optional stroll through illuminated majestic oaks and longleaf pines.

Overlooking Observation Lake is where the real magic happens, as guests can enjoy laser projections and dynamic lights on the trees and across the water.

Attendees can also cozy up to the multiple campfires and enjoy a live music session with various local artists. Hot chocolate, popcorn, and s’mores will all available for purchase. Outdoor activities are spread out and COVID-safe. Masks are recommended when exiting vehicles.

Illuminated takes place on Saturdays from January 23rd through March 6th with gates open from 6 pm to 9 pm.

Admission for Illuminated is included with any overnight stay, or available for purchase in advance for $15 per vehicle or at the gate for $20 per vehicle. Passes can be purchased in advance online at https://www.woodlandsnaturereserve.com or at the gate. Advance purchase or electronic payments preferred.

The Woodlands Nature Reserve is a 6,000 acre property featuring 11 lakes, 60 miles of trails and tracks and a 1,000 acre blackwater cypress swamp and is committed to conservation and sustainable nature-based tourism practices.
