Youth Empowerment Services Announces 8th Annual Virtual Dream Girls U.S. Conference
Youth Empowerment Services, Inc. (Y.E.S.) will virtually host their 8th Annual Dream Girls US Conference on Saturday, March 13th at 11 am. The Charleston-based nonprofit is expecting over 2,000 middle and high school-aged girls from across the country to participate in this free event-filled day, featuring live music from artists like Erica Cumbo and a plethora of motivational speakers like the legendary Jackie Brewton to inspire and empower young girls to be the best version of themselves.
“We are hopeful that being virtual, this year’s conference will reach an even greater audience, including family and friends at home, in small groups, in faith-based organizations and in schools,” Y.E.S. Executive Director Roslin Fields said. “It’s important for young girls to fully understand their value, and to learn the skills necessary to build meaningful lives for themselves. We can’t wait to provide them with information on relevant, thought-provoking and life-changing community resources.”
The Dream Girls US Conference will be available for live viewing on the Dream Girls Conference Facebook page on March 13th at 11 am, including a live chat option so viewers can ask mentors and speakers direct questions.
