Participants must be registered through Eventbrite in order to receive a free overdose prevention kit containing two Narcan nasal sprays. Interested participants can register here.

Zoom Information:

Caitlin Kratz, MSW, LISW-CP, LAC, AADC, Program Administrator of the Opioid Treatment Program at the Charleston Center will teach participants how to recognize the signs of an overdose, and steps to administer Narcan nasal spray.

“This training is especially important as we continue to see an increase in overdoses while navigating the COVID-19 pandemic,” Kratz said. “We will be teaching potentially life-saving skills that anyone can learn.”

This training is recommended for anyone at risk of an opioid overdose, friends and family of someone at risk, healthcare providers, social services providers, law enforcement, and emergency response providers.
