The inaugural Woodlands Chuckfest Disc Golf Festival will be held this Sunday, February 27th from 10 am to 4 pm. Chuckfest is a disc golf tournament and family fun day to celebrate the area’s newest disc golf course. The Woodlands Nature Reserve’s 18-hole course is the first on a private nature reserve in Charleston.

Admission is $10 per vehicle and tickets are available online at https://www.woodlandsnaturereserve.com/chuckfest

The Woodlands Chuckfest includes:

  • Music

  • Glow disc golf – as the sun sets, the targets will be illuminated for casual glow golf

  • Family-friendly combat archery with Charleston Combat Archery

  • An app-based scavenger hunt around the property

  • Camping – visitors and players can spend the night glamping in a Zun tent cabin, or camping in the lakeside primitive sites. Overnights are available at https://www.woodlandsnaturereserve.com/stay

  • Food trucks

  • Beer on tap

All events are spaced out and the property asks that everyone follows the Covid-19 guidelines.

The Woodlands Nature Reserve is a 6,000-acre property featuring 11 lakes, 60 miles of trails and tracks, and a 1,000-acre blackwater cypress swamp and is committed to conservation and sustainable nature-based tourism practices.
