UPDATE: Insomnia Cookies Opening on King Street Next Month
Insomnia Cookies today announced that the cookie company will start delivering warm cookies to Charlestonians in March. The new store, South Carolina’s fourth, will be located at 509 King Street. The project was first announced by this website in December.
In addition to serving customers inside the eatery, Insomnia Cookies Charleston will also offer late-night delivery to the Upper King Street neighborhood and the College of Charleston until 1 am or later. To place an order or to learn more about Insomnia Cookies, visit www.InsomniaCookies.com.
Insomnia Cookies offers a wide array of treats including an assortment of nine classic cookie varieties like Chocolate Chunk, Snickerdoodle, Double Chocolate Chunk, Sugar, M&M, Double Chocolate Mint, Oatmeal Raisin, Peanut Butter Chip, and White Chocolate Macadamia.
Their ‘Deluxe’ cookie is available in six flavors: S’mores, Peanut Butter Cup, Triple Chocolate Chunk, Confetti, Salted Caramel, and Oatmeal Chocolate Walnut.
Recently, Insomnia expanded its menu to include vegan cookies. Birthday Cake, Chocolate Chunk, and Double Chocolate Chunk joined the cookie company’s existing traditional gluten-free/vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie as alternative dietary choices.
Additional items available are ice cream (sold individually, between two cookies as a ‘Cookie’wich’ or as a scoop on top), brownies, the ‘Big’wich’ (icing between two cookies), and milk. Catering and bulk packages will also available.
Insomnia Cookies is headquartered in Philadelphia and New York. It was founded in a University of Pennsylvania dorm room in 2003 by then-student Seth Berkowitz. Today, the business has more than 185 locations nationwide and growing.
