COVID-19 Vaccine Available to All Veterans at the North Charleston VA Outpatient Clinic

Beginning today, Veterans of all ages are eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine at The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center’s new North Charleston VA Outpatient Clinic located at 6450 Rivers Ave, and at its other community outpatient clinics located in Myrtle Beach, Beaufort, and in Savannah and Hinesville, Georgia. Enrolled Veterans can call 843-789-6900 to schedule an appointment.

The new North Charleston clinic is a state-of-the-art 75,000 sq. ft. facility is scheduled to open this summer at full capability but is being used temporarily as a vaccination clinic to meet the demands of Veterans requesting the vaccination. The appointment line will be available Monday – Friday, 8 am to 4 pm. To date, the Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center has administered more than 35,000 COVID-19 vaccine doses to Veterans along the South Carolina and Georgia coast.

“We are very excited to now be able to offer all of our Veterans the COVID-19 vaccine,” said Ralph H. Johnson VAMC Director and CEO Scott Isaacks. “Based on supply allocation, we are scheduling appointments week to week. This scheduling process has been working well for us and our Veterans, and we have not had to cancel any vaccine appointments.”
