Charleston to Charleston Announces Rebrand and Dates for 2021 Literary Festival
Charleston to Charleston, Inc. will present its 2021 Festival from November 5th through 14th. The organization is planning on a hybrid festival, with both livestreamed sessions and live, in-person events held in compliance with state guidelines and appropriate health and safety protocols.
A partial listing of speakers will be released in early summer, and the full 2021 program and schedule, including the listing of anticipated livestreamed and live, in-person events, will be announced prior to Labor Day weekend.
As a result of a rebranding initiative, the 2021 Festival will have a new name and it will be presented as: Charleston Literary Festival: Books.Ideas.Conversations.
In addition to the new name and tag line, the Festival will have a new logo and brand design, as well as a redesigned web site (www.charlestonliteraryfestival.com). The new web site will go live in April.
“We are excited to announce the dates for our 2021 Festival and to unveil our new name and brand,” Walter Fiederowicz, President of Charleston to Charleston, Inc., said. “From the beginning, it was our intention to bring a unique event to Charleston—one that built on the strong literary and cultural heritage of the City by featuring timely and important books, with world-renowned speakers participating in robust and lively discussions with an engaged audience. I am confident that our 2021 Festival will continue to deliver on that promise and that our new name and branding will convey and reinforce that commitment.”
