Charleston Author & Lawyer to Share New Crime Novel at Buxton Books
Buxton Books announced an upcoming virtual event with Charleston author, E. Vernon F. Glenn, on Thursday, April 15th at 6 pm. Glenn will be sharing from and discussing his forthcoming crime novel, You Have Your Way, set to release on April 13th, 2021 with Cooper River Books.
Glenn will be in-conversation with fellow crime writer, Sara Johnson, who will also be discussing her latest mystery, The Bones Remember. Buxton Books owner, Polly Buxton, will moderate the talk.
“Trial attorney Eddie Terrell does mid-life crisis like nobody’s business in E. Vernon F. Glenn’s You Have Your Way,” Johnson said. “This crime caper, written by a twelve-cylinder mind, pulls you right in and delivers one hell of a return on your investment. Fans of Glenn’s first book, Friday Calls, will delight in the return of Terrell and some of his cohorts who rise to the occasion in You Have Your Way.”
Glenn has been a practicing litigator for 40 years, with much of his writing inspiration coming from cases he’s represented in the courtroom. His first novel, Friday Calls, was labeled “a lyrical Southern tale of rippling effects.” He currently resides in Mount Pleasant. You Have Your Way is available to purchase from Buxton Books for $18.95.
The event is free to attend, but registration is required. To secure your spot, please email Monica Lerch at Monica@BuxtonBooks.com.
