Gogo Jewelry & Hannah Carnegie Pop-Up Show at Garden & Gun’s Fieldshop
Gogo Ferguson and her daughter Hannah Sayre-Thomas are returning to Garden & Gun’s Fieldshop at the Dewberry Hotel in downtown Charleston for a spring show on Earth Day, April 22nd, from 4 pm to 7 pm. GoGo and Hannah’s lines showcase their distinctive talents of interpreting nature through art which has been instilled in them through seven generations of the Carnegie family living on Cumberland Island, Georgia.
Hannah debuted her collection at Fieldshop in November 2019 and is proud to return with her latest line, Hannah by Hannah Carnegie. Building on her debut line, The Architecture of Insects, her latest collection reimagines it in ethically sourced sterling silver, precious stones, and an array of colored enamels.
In addition to classic pieces that have been in GoGo’s jewelry collection for more than 30 years, she will also debut new designs at the April 22nsd show such as a hand-forged Bee Keepsake Box, a Shark Vertebrae Ring, and a Bird Skull Ring. In honor of it being Earth Day, a portion of the proceeds from sales of the Bee Box at the April 22 event will be donated to The Bee Conservancy.
“I’ve had the great blessings of Cumberland Island and all that my family taught me about preserving and celebrating nature throughout my entire life,” Ferguson said. “I am immensely proud and overjoyed to now watch my daughter build her own beautiful line, which also pays tribute to the perfection found in nature.”
Gogo Jewelry and Hannah Carnegie will present their lines with a reception at Garden and Gun’s Fieldshop on April 22nd, from 4 pm to 7 pm, however, the jewelry will be available for purchase throughout the day beginning at 11 am. An edited collection of Gogo Jewelry is available at Fieldshop year-round and online at www.ggfieldshop.com.
Fieldshop is located on the ground level of the Dewberry Hotel, located at 334 Meeting Street. COVID-19 precautions will be in place and attendees are asked to wear face masks/coverings.
