Brasserie la Banque, a forthcoming neighborhood French restaurant from three-time James Beard Award nominated restauranteur Steve Palmer, is set to open in downtown Charleston in early summer 2021.

Inspired by Palmer’s travels and passion for a classic Parisian brasserie, the restaurant will pay homage to traditional French cuisine. The menu, helmed by seasoned Charleston chef and French gastronome Jeb Aldrich, will feature a selection of traditional French dishes, such as Poulet Rouge, Foie Gras Torchon, and Bouillabaisse, alongside other fare.

Aptly named for the location’s previous role as a bank, Brasserie la Banque is housed within the city’s iconic 1 Broad Street corner building that dates back to the 1700s. The restaurant will offer lunch, dinner, and late-night service, seven days a week.

Brasserie la Banque is part of the Indigo Road Hospitality Group (Cocktail Club, Indaco, Oak Steakhouse, O-Ku, and more).
