Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. Provides Update on Symphony Tour of Homes
The Charleston Symphony Orchestra League, Inc. (CSOL®) has received tremendous public support for its first ever Tour of Homes in downtown historic Charleston. As a result of the COVID restrictions, the CSOL is replacing its traditional month-long Designer Showhouse with a shorter event, still showcasing beautiful design and historic architecture.
The event has attracted wide interest and ticket sales, both to locals and visitors from out of town.
Tour Headquarters Change
In order to accommodate the expected numbers, the headquarters and tour starting point has been changed to the elegant Mitchell Hill Gallery at 414 King Street. Tour tickets and materials will be available there from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm on Saturday, May 22, or Sunday, May 23. In addition, ticket holders may pick up their wrist bands and tour programs on Friday, May 21 from 3-5 pm at Michell Hill. Ticket will also be on sale at the Gallery during those hours.
Self-guided tours Saturday and Sunday will proceed through various downtown neighborhoods to the six unique homes and gardens on display, ranging from a chic, petite cottage to a grand home and former Designer Showhouse with expansive views of the Ashley River, a hidden pool and garden.
Proceeds from the tour will support the Charleston Symphony and provide scholarships for music students in the tri-county area.
