Buxton Books Taking Part in the “In the Heights” Virtual Book Launch featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda
Buxton Books announced they are a bookstore partner for the In the Heights virtual book launch featuring Lin-Manuel Miranda. The event will be held from 8 pm to 9 pm on Tuesday, June 15th.Before Hamilton became a global phenomenon and before Lin-Manuel Miranda became a household name, ashow called In the Heights shook up Broadway with its hip-hop and salsa soundtrack and big, bilingual heart. In the new book In the Heights: Finding Home, Miranda, Quiara Alegría Hudes, and Jeremy McCartertell tell the story of the show’s humble beginnings, from rehearsals in a bookstore basement to the Broadway smash (and soon-to-be feature film).
Join Miranda, Hudes, and McCarter for the In the Heights virtual book launch on Tuesday, June 15th from 8 pm to 9 pm on Zoom. Your ticket includes admission to this exclusive event and a hardcover copy of In the Heights: Finding Home.
