Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theatre Returns on May 27th
Closed since March 15, 2020, the Black Fedora Comedy Mystery Theatre is opening on May 27th with a brand new original show written during quarantine, Mack Black: Ghost Detective.
Mack Black, a 1930s private eye and a complete skeptic of all things supernatural, investigates ghost sightings at a notorious nightclub. He is shot and dies instantly from his wounds – he just doesn’t know it…yet. Other colorful characters are Vivien Von Viv’eon (a former showgirl and current nightclub owner), Slim Jim Lee (the club bartender, a gambler, and clearly a zero in a zoot suit), and Bob, who finds her work as an angel of death perhaps more challenging than rewarding. Audience members play ghosts, gangsters, federal agents, Scooby Gang members, and more while trying to figure out who shot Mack Black.
Also reopening are two favorites: Inspector NoClue’s Murder Mystery and Sherlock’s Other Brother by a Southern Mother. Black Fedora shows this summer will be nightly at 8 pm, with additional shows at 5 pm on Thursdays and Saturdays. Shows are casual, interactive, family-friendly, and last just under two hours. Desserts, appetizers, and drinks are available for ordering before the show and at intermission.
