Inclusive Swim Nights Offered This Summer with Charleston County Parks

People with disabilities and their families are invited to spend some refreshingly fun evenings at some of our local waterparks and pools. Inclusive Swim Nights take place after the parks are closed to the general public. These after-hours events have smaller crowds and are intended to be a judgment-free zone, so that people with disabilities and their caregivers and families feel welcome to enjoy the waterpark’s amenities.

Advance registration is highly recommended and is available at CharlestonCountyParks.com or by calling 843-795-4386. Food and beverages will be available for purchase on site. Water wheelchairs will be available for checkout during the events. Capacities are limited, so advance registration is recommended.

2021 Inclusive Swim Nights Schedule:

Splash Island Waterpark (Mount Pleasant)

• June 5th
• 6:15-8:15 p.m.
• $4 per person, or free for children 2 and under and all Splash Pass holders
• Rain date: June 12

 Splash Zone Waterpark (James Island)

• June 19th
• 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• $7 per person, or free for children 2 and under and all Splash Pass holders
• Rain date: June 26

 Whirlin’ Waters Adventure Waterpark (North Charleston)

• July 10th and July 17th
• 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• $9 per person, or free for children 2 and under and Super Splash Pass holders
• Rain date: July 24

 West County Aquatic Center (Hollywood)

• July 31st
• 6:30-8:30 p.m.
• $2 per person, or free for children 2 and under, West County Aquatic Center pass holders and Gold Pass holders
• Rain date: Aug. 7
