Local singer/songwriter Samantha Gaton to Celebrate Song Release at Red’s Icehouse
Local singer/songwriter Samantha Gaton (right) will celebrate the release of her new single, “Underwater,” on Sunday, June 13th at Red’s Icehouse on Shem Creek. The event runs from 3 pm to 6 pm.
You can listen to a clip of the song via the YouTube video below. The song was produced by Stuart Epps and Kenny McWilliams. Epps has worked with some big names likes Elton John, Led Zeppelin, Oasis, Twisted Sister, George Harrison, and more.
Besides being a singer/songwriter, Gaton hopes to graduate from the College of Charleston and become a human rights lawyer. Her dreams are to advocate for anti-human trafficking legislation and continuing to write, produce, and perform music wherever she goes. She currently has one album and an EP out on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon music, and is well on her way to writing her second full length record.
