The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center will open its new clinic location in North Charleston on June 8th. Due to COVID-19 precautions, there is no formal grand opening ceremony for the public.

The Ralph H. Johnson VA Medical Center has been serving Charleston area Veterans for more than 50 years. The new state-of-the-art, 75,000 square foot outpatient clinic will provide primary care, dental, radiology and select specialty services for Lowcountry Veterans.

The clinic features more than 140 treatment rooms, including 19 dental operatories and an oral surgery suite. Other features include a large lab with eight lab-draw stations, an on-site transition care manager, telemedicine clinic rooms, and a radiology suite with two ultrasound rooms, two general x-ray rooms, a CT scan, bone density scan, and future mobile MRI capability. Additionally, there is a separate Women’s Health area with dedicated exam rooms each with a private restroom for specialized women’s care.

The North Charleston VA Outpatient Clinic is located at 6450 Rivers Ave.
