Johns Island County Park Concert Series to Features Motown Tunes from The Legacy
Charleston County Parks’ Johns Island County Park Concert Series wraps up with its final installment on July 10th. The finale will feature Motown tunes from The Legacy.
A variety of food trucks will also be available – Tamashii, Chucktown Mobile Seafood, Street Bird, Holy Rolly, and T & T Kettle Korn. Gates open at 6 pm and music will run from 7 – 9:30 p.m.
Concert-goers must register in advance, and a 10 x 10 square will be available on a first-come, first-served basis upon arrival. The $60 admission fee allows up to 4 people per square. Guests must arrive together, as each vehicle must have a ticket for entry. There will be no dance floor on site; however, guests are encouraged to dance within their squares.
Guests are also encouraged to bring chairs, blankets, tables, etc. to be used in their square, and should be prepared to carry these items from their vehicle. Outside food, alcohol, coolers, tents and umbrellas will not be permitted. Pets will not be allowed.
Johns Island County Park is located at 2662 Mullet Hall Road, just off River Road. The park sits on 738 acres and offers miles of trails for runners, walkers and equestrians. During normal park hours, an archery range, dog park and disc golf course are also available.
