Shop the Friends of the Library’s Summer Sale this Weekend
Looking for your next read and a way to support your local library? Beat the heat by heading inside and shopping great books, all while supporting your local library by coming to the Charleston Friends of the Library’s (CFOL) next Branch Book Sale at the Charleston County Public Library (CCPL) Main Branch at 68 Calhoun Street.
Branch Book Sales include mysteries, romances, classics, children’s books, local histories, cookbooks and a variety of non-fiction topics with prices starting at $1 for pocket paperbacks and $4 for hardback books
The event’s schedule is as follows:
- Thursday, July 8 – Sunday, July 11
- Thursday – Exclusive Member Event from 4 pm to 6:30 pm
- Friday & Saturday
- 9 am to 4:30 pm
- Sunday
- 2 pm to 4 pm

The CFOL is a non-profit volunteer organization that raises money through book sales to help fund library services, equipment, training, materials and public programming. The CFOL collects and sorts donated books for resale to raise money.
