Dog and Duck Family Pubs has been part of the Lowcountry for two decades and they want to celebrate that milestone. On Saturday, July 31st, from 11 am to midnight, all three Dog and Duck locations – Belle Hall, Park West, and Clements Ferry – will host an all-day anniversary party that will include live music, drink and food specials, jump castles, and more. They will also debut their brand new house lager brewed by Cooper River Brewing Company—D2 Brew.

“We’ve been lucky to be a part of our customers’ lives during these last 20 years,” said Rod Bradley, co-owner of Dog and Duck. “From engagements, babies, retirements, and a variety of milestones, we’ve grown with our community and those who support us. When we first opened our Belle Hall location, our kids were in diapers and now they’re adults. Time flies when you’re having fun.”

Dog and Duck has weathered numerous major life-changing events including hurricanes, snow storms, a recession, and the biggest obstacle so far –  the COVID-19 Pandemic.

“This anniversary party is different,” said Alli Bradley, co-owner of Dog and Duck. “Being here for 20 years is important to us. We want everyone that has ever worked here or has spent time here as a customer to come in and celebrate with us! We consider this to be a big family reunion of sorts-and we want to say thanks for being a part of our success.”

Dog and Duck has supported the community in numerous ways over the last two decades including: sponsoring local schools’ sports programs, feeding teachers and support staff of local schools, hosting spirit nights, and collecting toys for local programs. Additionally, they have hosted ten golf tournaments over their 20 years and have raised over $250,000 for area charities, including March of Dimes, Lowcountry Orphan Relief, Down Syndrome Association of the Lowcountry and I GOT LEGS.

“The opening day at Belle Hall was chaotic in 2001,” said co-owner Andy Reed. “We grossly underestimated the amount of plates and silverware. Luckily, it was our soft-opening and we made sure to be fully prepared when we opened to the public.”

The public is invited to the celebration and encouraged to bring old photos and memorabilia and use the hashtag #20yearsofdognduck.
