You Could Win A Trip to Cancun by Winning The Hunt Charleston

Blue Steel Promotions and On Purpose Games By On Purpose Adventures are teaming up to host the biggest scavenger hunt Charleston has ever seen – with a week in Cancun on the line! The Hunt Charleston will be held on Saturday, November 13th at 10 am.

The event hosts have put together elements from The Amazing Race, escape rooms, Double Dare, Legends of the Hidden Temple, Pokemon Go, classic geo-caching, and more.

Game Details:

• Teams of 4
• Ages 21+
• 4 stages
• Up to 6 hours of adventure (Fewer if you are good)
• Teams are pitted against the clock, the elements, and the competition to accrue points and solve clues to be the first to find the buried treasure, and claim the GRAND PRIZE – a trip to Cancun
• Teams will face tasks and challenges of all types:
  • Physical activities (kayaking, skateboarding, handstands, human pyramids, and wheelbarrow races etc)
  • Puzzles, riddles, anagrams, and brainteasers
  • Decipher cryptic codes
  • Augmented reality
  • And more

The weekend kicks off with a Welcome Party on Friday, November 12th where participants can pick up their welcome packet and can meet fellow competitors while enjoying drink and food specials.

The weekend will wrap up with an After Party at a restaurant/bar close by the treasure site. The After Party will include:

• Prizes

  • Fastest to complete specific mental challenges
  • Most social posts prior to and during The Hunt

A portion of proceeds from this event will support Going Places, a local charity with a mission to spread joy to children by providing bicycles to children who are underprivileged in the Charleston Area.
