Mex 1 Coastal Cantina Park West Announces Open Mic Night

Mex 1 Coastal Cantina – Park West, in partnership with Awendaw Green, has announced an open mic night series for the fall season. Mex 1 Mic’d Up, emceed by singer/songwriter Danielle Howle (artist in residence for Awendaw Green), will take place every Tuesday at 6 pm, beginning on Tuesday, September 14th.

This partnership will provide local musicians a dedicated night to express themselves.

“One of my favorite types of performances is open mic,” said Howle. “I love meeting artists and helping them have a great performance. I’m so honored to be a part of this event.”

Awendaw Green’s Annual Barn Jam continues to feature a diverse selection of original music in a family-friendly outdoor listening environment.

“The Barn Jam is the glue that holds the Awendaw Green family together,” said Eddie White from Awendaw Green. “Rain or shine, we gather every Wednesday to have a musical celebration of life, love, and togetherness, and we all hope you can come.”
