CofC Student Veterans Organization to Host 9/11 Vigil

The College of Charleston Student Veterans Organization is hosting a vigil on Friday, September 10, 2021, in remembrance of 9/11 and the 13 U.S. Marines killed last month in Afghanistan.

The event will take place at 4 pm in the Cistern Yard. The vigil will honor those who lost their lives on both Sept. 11, 2001, and the 13 service members who died in the line of duty in Afghanistan on August 26th, 2021.

The Student Veterans Organization is a place where students who are active military, veterans, spouses and family members can come together and support one another as they go through college.
