Summerville’s Sweet Tea Festival Set for Saturday
The town of Summerville will host their annual Sweet Tea Festival in the historic downtown area on Saturday, September 18th from 2 pm to 8 pm. In addition to the main event, the town is hosting “The Sweetest Week Ever,” a series of smaller celebratory event, through September 17th.
The Sweet Tea Festival is a celebration of the birthplace of sweet tea featuring a street fair with different food trucks, artisanal vendors, and entertainment. Of course, there is also plenty of sweet tea and attendees can help select the Tea of the Year by sampling and voting for their favorite. Guests can also stop and get their picture taken with “Mason,” The World’s Largest Sweet Tea mug.
