Charleston Beer Week Taking Place in Six Weeks

Published

on

Charleston Beer Week (CBW), now in its eighth year, will be held in the coming weeks, from Friday, October 29th through Sunday, November 7th at participating venues throughout the greater Charleston area. The event is not to be confused with the postponed Charleston Beer Fest.

This year features 50+ craft beer-focused events taking place each day over the ten-day period, with events spread across the tri-county area in order to maximize participation. While some events offer advanced ticket sales, most events are “pay-as-you-go” so attendees can enjoy as much or as little as they prefer.

CBW will see numerous outdoor, sporting, and culinary-related events, such as Hop Chef Competition, Beer Olympics, Round of Beers Golf Tournament, Beer Week Block Party, Bocce Tournament, Pint Pedal, and Yard Pong Tournament.

This year will also feature the first “CBW Beer Festival” finale event on November 7th, which is being organized by Charles Towne Fermentory and will feature only Charleston breweries. The Charleston tri-county area now boasts 35 production breweries, along with new and expanding craft beer retail stores, which can be seen on this map https://charlestonbeerweek.com/chsbeer-map.

All events will be featured on the official website (https://charlestonbeerweek.com/) over the next few weeks, with the ability to filter events by date, location, and event type, such as “ticketed,” “outdoor,” “fundraiser,” “music,” “food,” “beer release,” and more.
