Firefly Honors Breast Cancer Awareness Month with Share Our Suzy
In honor of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, Firefly Distillery is partnering with Share Our Suzy, a Lowcountry nonprofit enhancing the quality of life for breast cancer patients in South Carolina.
Through this partnership, Firefly is donating a portion of proceeds from its Frozen Strawberry cocktail “drink pink” (right) back to the organization for the entire month of October. To culminate the partnership, and highlight the importance of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Firefly and Share Our Suzy will host an event on Saturday, October 30th at the distillery.
Firefly will be releasing a limited run of their popular throwback vodka flavor, Raspberry Sweet Tea Vodka, and it’ll be the last day to purchase and enjoy a pink drink to support Share Our Suzy. The front porch will be full of local vendors from Holy City Farmer’s Market from 12 pm to 5 pm and live music from Whitney Hanna & Jeff from 1 pm to 4 pm. Local food truck Lola’s Lumpia will be onsite from 12 pm – 4 pm.
The Distillery is open for tours, tastings, and cocktail purchases Monday through Saturday from 12 pm to 6 pm. Each Saturday, they host live music and food trucks for all to enjoy. Leashed dogs are welcome and guests can bring their own blankets, chairs or lawn games to spread out on the 4-acre field.
