Hamby Catering and Events Partners with Lowcountry Food Bank for 8th Consecutive Year

For the eighth consecutive year, Hamby Catering and Events has partnered with Lowcountry Food Bank (LCFB) as the beneficiary of their Thanksgiving efforts. In 2020, Hamby was able to sponsor over 6,000 meals for families in need, as a portion of each Thanksgiving Feast meals to-go purchased by Hamby clients is shared with LCFB.

When choosing to use Hamby Catering and Events to create your family meal, customers can feel even more fulfilled, knowing that they’ll be able to spend more time with friends and family, as well as give back to those in need.

“Community is one of Hamby’s core values, and being a philanthropic member of the Charleston community is at the center of everything we do,” said Hamby Catering owner Candice Wigfield.

Hamby Catering knows the importance of a warm and nutritious meal,” said Alexis Barbalace, Lowcountry Food Bank’s Annual Giving Officer. “For eight years, they have promoted community participation to fight hunger in the Lowcountry. Now more than ever, partnerships like this will help serve 235,000 Lowcountry neighbors who struggle with hunger.”

Orders must be placed by November 20th, 2021 at 5 pm, with items available for pickup on November 24th, 2021 from 9 am to 5 pm at the Market at Hamby, located in West Ashley at 925 St. Andrews Blvd.
