North Charleston PAC to Host An Evening With Chevy Chase Following a Screening of “Christmas Vacation”
The North Charleston Performing Arts Center today announced they will host a “An Evening With Chevy Chase” on December 1st at 7 pm. The event features Chase live on stage, an audience Q & A, and a 30th anniversary screening of National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation.
Light up your holidays with Chase (Clark Griswold) sharing stories from his career and the making of his classic movies and legendary television programs.
An original member of NBC’s Saturday Night Live (SNL), Chevy Chase was the trailblazer who turned SNL success into Hollywood mega-stardom. The movies Caddyshack, National Lampoon’s Vacation, Fletch, and Three Amigos all contributed to making Chevy Chase a world-wide household name.
National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation was recently ranked #2 on Esquire’s list of “The 40 Best Christmas Movies” of all-time.
Tickets go on sale Friday, October 22nd at 10 an and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or the North Charleston Coliseum Advance Ticket Office. Coliseum ticket office hours are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays 10 am to 4 pm. VIP Tickets are available and include a photo op.

It was horrible. Chevy couldn’t answer a single question coherently without babbling and going off on tangents that no one knew what the heck he was talking about. His wife and the moderator had to do some serious heavy lifting. Compounded with already knowing too much about who Chevy really is and how he’s treated others, made it easy to walk out 10 minutes into the q&a. Never meet your heroes.
