Moranz Entertainment will celebrate 26 years of delighting audiences with the Charleston Christmas Special. A long-standing holiday tradition for hundreds of families, the show will be December 16th to 22nd at the Charleston Music Hall.

Each year, producers Brad and Jennifer Moranz gather some of the country’s most talented performers for an entirely new show featuring holiday favorites, new music, dancing and comedy skits.

“We are so blessed to be entering our 26th year of the Charleston Christmas Special,” Brad Moranz said. “In our business, it’s just so hard to even keep going and certainly a global pandemic didn’t help. That’s why we are incredibly grateful to everyone who comes to the Christmas Special this year. By that one simple act of buying a ticket, they are helping keep theater alive.”

The all-new Charleston Christmas Special is a family-friendly blend of holiday classics and a range of new songs sure to get everyone in the Christmas spirit.

New to the Charleston Christmas Special stage this year is Caitlin Witty, a phenomenally gifted vocalist who can tackle a Carrie Underwood song with ease, Brad Moranz said. Witty will perform two songs from Underwood’s “My Gift” holiday album: “Let There Be Peace” along with “Hallelujah,” a duet she’ll perform with Damon McToy.

Versatile singer McToy, who appeared in the international tour of “Sister Act,” will join Matthew Billman to sing For King & Country’s version of “Little Drummer Boy.” Billman, who can rival Josh Groban’s baritone, also will perform Steven Curtis Chapman’s version of “O Come All Ye Faithful.”

Rodney Archie is a regular performer at Dollywood and toured for several years with Queen Esther Marrow and The Harlem Gospel Singers. Archie will perform a gospel version of “Joy to the World” inspired by country music band Rascal Flatts as well as the holiday classic “This Christmas.”

Jenna Flaherty has been delighting Christmas Special attendees for years with her operatic vocals. Don’t miss her performance of Sandi Patty’s “Angels We Have Heard on High” and Kelly Clarkson’s rendition of “Please Come Home for Christmas.”

Charleston Christmas Special regulars Tiffany Parker and Michael Minor are back. Parker will perform “I’ll Be Home for Christmas” accompanied by Brad Moranz on guitar. Parker and Flaherty join together to perform “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”

Minor will perform a new ventriloquist act featuring everyone’s favorite reindeer Dasher.

The show’s male singers will reprise an audience favorite: Straight No Chaser’s version of “The 12 Days of Christmas.” And the entire cast will join together for a performance of Il Divo’s “When a Child Is Born.”

And certainly no performance of the Charleston Christmas Special is complete without dancing and comedy sketches featuring Brad and Jennifer Moranz.

Brad Moranz performed on Broadway in “Singin’ in the Rain,” “A Day in Hollywood, A Night in the Ukraine,” and off Broadway in “Little Shop of Horrors,” and national tours of “A Chorus Line” and “Me and My Girl.” Jennifer Moranz is a former Radio City Rockette and Broadway performer in “42nd Street” and in the national tour of “Singin’ in the Rain.”
